AssociateLucas is from Knoxville, Tennessee and grew up in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Lucas attended Middlesboro High School where he lettered in both football and basketball and was active in several social clubs. As a quarterback, he was a member of Middlesboro’s only state championship football team. In 2006, Lucas received his B.S. in Communications with a major in Journalism from the University of Tennessee. While at Tennessee, he was a member of both the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List. Upon graduation from Tennessee, he attended Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida, where he obtained a Juris Doctor Degree in May of 2009. While at Barry, Lucas received the “Book Award” for excellence in legal research and writing and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Lucas was admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee in November of 2009. He began practicing law with Young, Williams & Kirk, PC, in February of 2010. Lucas is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar. Lucas is excited to once again call Knoxville home after relocating back from Orlando in the summer of 2009. In his leisure time, he enjoys exercising, reading, and being involved in the community. Among other things, Lucas particularly enjoys playing basketball and jogging and is enthusiastic about the outdoor activities available in East Tennessee, most notably hunting and fishing. Lucas is a Christian and is excited about finding a new church home and growing in his faith. Lucas has been actively involved with Big Brothers of East Tennessee and the Epilepsy Foundation of East Tennessee. |
